Essay by Andreas Wilhelm Spengler, 2013 Music: Thomas Rydell I met this one little ant in my bathroom. It came with me in a flower pot from a trip to the German Ocean. When I first took the ant on my hand, it moved very fast and alarmed. After a few minutes it got more quiet and the ant moved slower. Finally it accepted the new ambiance and started to clean itself as you see in the last picture. In microcosms the human hand can be a surface, a space to live or an entire world. For the ant it isn’t more or less alive as weather or a floating ship is for most humans.
